Day 1: Girona
Northern Catalonia’s largest city, Girona, Spain is a jewelery box of museums, galleries and Gothic churches, strung around a web of cobbled lanes and medieval walls. Game of Thrones fans will recognize this location very well. In fact most of season 6 was filmed here. Worth a trip from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona.

Day 2: Besalu & Cadequés
With it’s cream color stone work and mid-evil charm Besalú, May be the most interesting Spanish village you’ve never heard of. Nowadays, Besalú has lost its status of independence but it remains a real gem. It is a maze of narrow, cobbled alleys and beautifully kept buildings. A must see for sure.

Tucked away in a natural harbor sheltered by the Pyrenean foothills, Cadaqués, Spain known as the white pearl of the Catalan coast, has long been a favorite with artists, starting with Dali. It’s easy to get lost in this tiny fishing village and that’s ok

Day 3: Carcassonne
SURPRISE, you're in France! Namely, a perfect medieval city with its massive fortifications dominating the surrounding countryside. Seen from afar it seems straight out of a fairy-tale. Inside, it’s even more impressive. Carcassonne is best known for having an entire city that is a castle. From the ramparts you can imagine knights in battle and the kings and queens that came before.
Day 4 & 5: Barcelona

The Barri Gòtic (Gothic Quarter) is one of three neighborhoods in Barcelona's Old Town and the best place to stay when visiting the cosmopolotian city! It is amongst the most fascinating areas in the city thanks to the abundance of Gothic buildings that were erected here during Barcelona's heyday in the Middle Ages. Get lost in its back alleys and have a drink in a number of great trendy bars.

Unesco-listed Park Güell is where architect Antoni Gaudí turned his hand to landscape gardening. It’s a strange, enchanting place where his passion for natural forms really took flight. The park is extremely popular, and access to the central area is limited to a certain number of people every half-hour – book ahead online and would most definitely recommend getting there early for this iconic view, It’s what Traveling is all about right here.
